Biography

Dr. William Sherwood is a board-certified Family Medicine Doctor who is passionate about providing quality care to his patients. He attended Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio, graduating in 1989, and then went on to the University of Cincinnati for medical school, where he graduated and earned his MD in 1993. Dr. Sherwood later moved to DeKalb County, Tennessee, where he began his work in outpatient primary care, hospital medicine, and nursing home and rehabilitation practice. Dr. Sherwood now specializes in managing care for adults, with a focus on acute care of illness and preventive medicine.
