Paula Teixeira, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant who believes exceptional healthcare begins with lasting, trust-based relationships and treating the whole person rather than isolated symptoms. She is committed to proactive prevention, lifestyle-focused wellness, and identifying health risks early to help patients achieve long-term health. Paula views the patient-provider relationship as a collaborative partnership built on shared decision-making, ensuring care plans align with each individual's values and goals. She is dedicated to serving as both an advocate and trusted guide, helping patients navigate the healthcare system with compassion and confidence. Her clinical interests include diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, asthma and COPD, congestive heart failure, thyroid disorders, weight management, gastrointestinal conditions, women's health, geriatric care, anxiety and depression, and preventive wellness.

Paula enjoys the lifelong learning that medicine provides and finds fulfillment in helping patients live healthier lives through education, prevention, and evidence-based care. After more than 25 years serving her community, she values the lasting relationships she has built while caring for multiple generations of families. She also appreciates the opportunity to provide culturally informed care to the Portuguese community. Outside of the clinic, Paula enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and pets.
