Marc Poirier, DO

Marc Poirier, DO, is a board-certified family medicine physician with fellowship training in sports medicine who is dedicated to helping patients recover from musculoskeletal injuries and maintain active, healthy lives. He believes many muscle, joint, and sports-related conditions can be successfully treated without surgery through individualized, evidence-based care. Dr. Poirier works closely with patients to develop personalized treatment plans that may include activity modification, physical therapy, medications, injections, and lifestyle interventions to reduce pain, restore function, and improve quality of life. His clinical interests include neck, shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand, back, hip, knee, and ankle and foot conditions, concussions, sports-related injuries, and lifestyle medicine, including nutrition, exercise, sleep, and weight management.

Dr. Poirier enjoys partnering with patients to understand their goals and helping them return to the activities they enjoy most. He appreciates the active New England community and values helping patients stay healthy through every season, whether recovering from an injury or preventing future problems. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Poirier enjoys spending time on the golf course, exploring local coffee shops, and photographing the places he visits.
