Kent Johnson, MD

As a dedicated practitioner, Dr. Kent Johnson (Jawn-sun) is passionate about the health and wellness of his patients. He is board-certified in internal medicine and pediatrics, began practicing in 1999 and works with patients of all ages. He volunteers as a faculty member at the University of Arizona College of Medicine to teach future generations of healthcare professionals. In addition, he serves on several hospital committees at Banner Estrella Medical Center, including as co-chair of the Professional Review Committee, and was a prior chief of staff there.Kent earned his bachelor's degree from Michigan State University in microbiology and public health. He then attended medical school at MSU and completed his residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center and Phoenix Children's Hospital in Phoenix.When he's not practicing medicine, Dr. Johnson is an avid masters swimmer. He enjoys golfing, fly fishing, traveling to Hawaii and doing anything related to bodies of water. His love for tropical life is displayed each day by his wearing a Hawaiian shirt to work.
