Katia Korte, MD

Katia Korte, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician with additional board certification in geriatric medicine who believes that clear communication is the foundation of exceptional healthcare. She is committed to helping patients understand their health conditions so they can make informed decisions and confidently participate in their care. Dr. Korte emphasizes education, collaboration, and evidence-based medicine to support long-term health and wellness. Her clinical interests include diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, asthma and COPD, congestive heart failure, thyroid disorders, weight management, gastrointestinal conditions, geriatric care, anxiety and depression, and preventive wellness.

Dr. Korte is motivated each day by the opportunity to improve her patients' health and make a meaningful difference in their lives. She has a deep appreciation for the Taunton community and values caring for its diverse population, particularly the Portuguese-speaking patients with whom she can communicate in their native language. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Korte enjoys spending time with her children, exercising, and playing pickleball.
