John Pennington, MD

Dr. Pennington is a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia and completed his Family Medicine residency at the University of Tennessee / St. Francis Hospital. Dr. Pennington has practiced as a Family Medicine Physician in Tennessee for the past 20 years. He is a member of the American Board of Family Medicine, American Academy of Family Physicians, and the Tennessee Medical Association. His current role as Regional Medical Director involves process development to improve primary healthcare delivery, as well as education and oversight of mid-level providers. Dr. Pennington’s goals include improving primary care access and enhancing quality of care, resulting in better patient outcomes.
